Update : the 3D maps are killer! ***** The WeSki app has what I need without the bells and whistles. It maps and counts my days and runs, elevation and speed. I like that I can add notes about my day. Use it anywhere, not just at ski areas. I mapped a snowmobile tour. It’s not perfect but it’s free. In other words, it’s perfect. The dev is super responsive and is actively developing the app. Get it while its free. Have fun out there!

I originally gave this app a 1 star review as it didn’t work at all on my android phone. The developers got back to me and gave me explicit instructions on enabling it on my phone. I was skeptical, but gave it a try. So glad I did. Used it this week and it worked flawlessly. Correct number of runs, love the map feature, and other cool stats. Didn’t realize how fast we went on the ski hill (skiing in my 60’s)! I actually ran another app as well for comparison but this was my favourite by far. Well worth the few extra steps to enable.

Edit bellow, it was an issue with my phone. ***** Was only possible to allow location tracking while the app is open… Not really useful for a tracker. I only tracked the distance between my lunch and my ski’s 😅. Edit: This turned out to be a problem of my phone, which was managing the app automatically, when changing battery management to manually the problem was gone and I really enjoyed the app! (Huawei p20 pro)
